On September 11th, 2008 the social worker Zvezdelin Katzarov organized hiking in Vitosha mountain for the children from the Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care "Petko R. Slaveikov".
The destination was the highest peak in the mountain - Cherni Vrah. The event was organized within the framework of the workshop "Cultural Tourism", one of the activities set up in the Holiday program of the Community Support Center to the Home.
The hiking started from the Sofia neighbourhood Dragalevci to the peak Goli Vrah in Vitosha with the lift and continued on foot to Cherni Vrah. The 13 children who signed up for the event hiked for 6 hours and spend 1 hour in sightseeing and outdoor eating.
