Introductory training on resilience took place on February 24th and 25th, 2011
On February, 24th and 25th, 2011in the headquarters of the Association "Social Activities and Practices Institute" on 78 Kniaz Boris Street in Sofia was held an introductory training on Resilience together with colleagues from Association Roditeli, Theatre Tsvete and the National Network for Children. The training was led by Associate Professor Nalli Petrova-Dimitrova.The participants assessed highly the new for them approach as a good instrument for prevention of violence and for intervention when more serious cases occur in their practice. Some of the shared opinions are that the work with the Resilience approach and in general the introduction to it make us more open to the idea to have confidence in the stability of those who have lived through crisis moments and also to perceive people as personalities and not just on the basis of the problem that has directed them to your services. The training gave an opportunity, thinking through the prism of the resilience, to propose to one another concrete decisions for concrete ongoing cases from everyone's practice. Confirmed was the belief that the Resilience approach allows a place of meeting and mutual cooperation between all actors for the mobilization of the resources of the existing environment. The meeting with the colleagues ended with shared satisfaction from the opportunities for future joint projects and mutual activities. Thank you!
