More babies placed in foster families SOCIAL WORKERS FROM THE CSSCF AND RFCC IN SHOUMEN AND THE CPU IN SHOUMEN, VELIKI PRESLAV AND NOVI PAZAR PREVENTED THE ABANDONMENT IN INSTITUTION OF SEVEN NEWLY BORN BABIES   ANOTHER SIXTEEN CHILDREN FROM THE HOME FOR BABIES IN SHOUMEN ARE ALSO PLACED IN FOSTER CARE During the second three-month period of 2011 the efforts of the team of the Regional Foster Care Centre and the partners from the Child Protection Units and the General Hospital in Shoumen were concentrated on: Placement of the children from the Home for Medico-Social Care of Children in foster families according to the activities of the project "Family for Every Child".Hard work on prevention of abandonment on the level parent-home and placement of newly born babies in foster families;Development and sustainability of the practices of the established partner network.The partnership team / the Regional Directorates "Social Support", the project coordinator from UNICEF, the social service providers - the Regional Foster Care Centre snd the Community Support Centre in Novi Pazar/ and the social worker from the General Hospital in Shoumen held a number of meetings. From April until the end of June 16 children from the HMSCC were placed in foster families. The newly born babies placed in foster families after birth is 7. Three of the children are in foster families in Shoumen, two babies are placed in a foster family from the Municipality of Veliki Preslav and another two babies were placed in foster families in Novi Pazar.
