Initials is a training documentary aimed at raising awareness among professionals and the general public about sexual abuse of children deprived of parental care and raised at specialized institutions.
This 60-minute documentary is made up of two independent parts of approximately 30 minutes each. Part Onefocuses on the vulnerability of children raised in institutions and lacking parental care, while also highlighting different kinds of sexual abuse inflicted on institutionalized children. Part Two features brief presentations of various services, activities, and policies aimed at preventing child sexual abuse, as drawn from the experience of partner organizations in all five countries concerned: Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.
This documentary is being disseminated in the partner countries, with subtitles in 7 languages: English, French, Bulgarian, Greek, Latvian, Lithuanian, and Polish.
