On the 29th of August, 2008 at 10 o'clock officially ended the Holiday Program 2008 organized by the staff of the Complex for Social Services to Children and Families in the city of Pazardjik. The program included four workshops based on the interests of the children (Colorful World, Computers, Green Holiday, and Cultural Tourism), and one School Support Group. 41 children showed interest in the group activities and took part in the workshops as a result of their parents' initiative. During our last meeting the children planted some trees, flowers, and plants in the courtyard of the Complex and promised to take good care of them although the Holiday Program was coming to an end. After the hard work of the children they had an official lunch that the staff of the Complex provided as a token of their gratitude for the enthusiasm and responsibility that the children demonstrated during the whole period of the program activities. Four rooms were settled for the children so that they could perform their favorite activities – dancing, using computers, playing games, and drawing. At the end of the ceremony the children filled out feedback sheets concerning the program where they described their impressions, opinions, and recommendations.
