After the start of a National Campaign on Foster Care on 20.04.2010 the inquiries and telephone calls in the Regional Foster Care Centre in Sofia increased significantly.

The Centre is visited by two-three families every day and these families receive information about the service foster care from specialists working in the centre.
On 29.04.2010 one of the families that had visited the Centre took part in a television interview on National TV regarding the topic of foster care. Participants in the interview were also social workers that provided information about the procedure for candidacy and the training for foster parents.
