Integrated social service at the advantage of the justice system

Integrated social service at the advantage of the justice system

The practice in the work of the state and non-government structures related to the guaranteeing of the rights of the children during the last few years undoubtedly indicates that one of the most often encountered risk situations for children are related to violence within the family. According to the data provided by the LCFABAMU to the Municipality of Vidin and some of the Social Support Directorates in the Municipality of Vidin, in 2011 105 children in Vidin are registered to have committed anti-social acts. The signals for violence against children at the Social Support Directorates in Vidin, Belogradchik and Dimovo are a total of 25 in 2011, and in the first half of 2012 - a total of 20. It is more likely that these numbers speak about the presence of a serious problem in the signalization, registration and the work on cases of violence in the city, which poses the necessity for the increase of the awareness of the sosciety, but also of the institutions working with children and their involvement with the police, the court and the prosecution.

The project "Integrated social service at the advantage of the justice system" is implemented since the beginning of December 2012 until the end of 2013 in the Municipality of Vidin.
