The aim of this project is to provide community-based social services for children and families at risk. The project will develop the capacity to meet clients who have been victims of violence or are themselves abusers.

It envisages two main lines of action:

• Targeted impact on areas with underdeveloped social services in district towns of Lovech, Pleven, Razgrad, where social services for children and families are almost absent. Moreover, the civil potential there is also limited, financial support in the field of social work is not provided, neither from external donors and the government. In these three areas will work to build local vision for the development of social services and to launch specific services for children and families by independent local suppliers.

• Resource impact on areas such as Shumen, Gabrovo, Targovishte, Veliko Tarnovo, where the process for the development of social services for children and families has started. In these cities will work for the development of social services and turning these cities into resource centers to support professionals in the social sphere. In Shumen, Targovishte, Gabrovo the projects funded by local authorities, the World Bank and the Government will be developed.
