The teams of CPC "Slaveykov" and CPC "Nadezhda" managed by SAPI took part in a four-day event organized by Sofia Municipality dedicated to June 1 - CHILDREN'S DAY. From Saturday to Tuesday, parents have the opportunity to meet people from the service teams, and children have fun with a special program prepared by the organizers, to participate in games, quizzes and create. The invitation for participation is from the direction "Social activities and integration of people with disabilities" at Sofia Municipality.

The idea for the children's holiday June 1 was born in 1925 at the World Conference in Geneva, dedicated to the welfare of children.

As International Children's Day, it was established in 1949 by the Council of the International Democratic Federation of Women, and since 1950 it has been officially celebrated in 51 countries.

In 2012, the United Nations General Assembly also declared June 1 as World Parents' Day in recognition of their role in the well-being of children and the observance of their rights.
