On April 8th, 2008 the Executive Director of the Social Activities and Practices Institute together with the psychologist of the Centre participated in the TV program "Mom's Hour" on BTV in a discussion on the topic of Foster Care.

On April 9th, 2008 social workers from the sector "Services and Support to the Family" participated in the event Open Doors Day organized by Foundation "Priateli 2006" with the help of "Step by Step" Foundation. The accent was placed on the topic of Foster Care.

On April 8th and 9th, 2008 the psychologist of the Centre took part in a seminar on the topic "Court Hearing of Children Victims of Violence". The seminar was organized with the help of the National Justice Institute, OAK Foundation and SAPI. The themes of the seminar were related to the characteristics of the post-traumatic stress and on dealing with the difficulties of interviewing children victims of violence. Details about the setting up and establishment of the so-called "blue rooms" for interviews with children victims of violence were also discussed. One of these rooms will be set up in the Centre for Communal Support to the HCDPC "Petko R. Slaveikov".
