Community Work
What is the “Community Work” service?
Community work is an innovative approach in the social sphere that supports vulnerable groups in society by ensuring better access to healthcare, education, justice, and social services. This form of mobile preventive work is carried out directly within communities, thus reaching people who would otherwise have difficulty accessing standard social services. Community work enables sustainable social development by helping people to recognize their needs and find effective solutions. It fosters self-help, empowers families, and builds stronger, better-informed, and more cohesive communities.
What are the goals of SAPI’s service?
The SAPI community work program aims to:
- Support families and parents in raising and educating their children.
- Inform and educate communities about children’s rights and the mechanisms to access them.
- Promote the prevention of risky behavior among children and young people.
- Mobilize local resources to improve the living conditions of vulnerable groups.
How do we work?
The SAPI team provides the service through:
- Field work – meetings in the natural environment of families and communities.
- Information campaigns – distribution of materials, online and offline events.
- Trainings and workshops – programs for parents, children, and professionals.
- Collaboration with institutions – working with schools, healthcare, and social services to provide comprehensive support.
