On 22.07.2010 six children from the Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care "P.R.Slaveikov" together with the psychologist and social worker from the Community Support Centre visited the equestrian base near the stadium "Slavia" in Sofia.

This visit was related to the summer program of the Centre. Each week children from the Home will visit various tourist and cultural sights in the capital.
The children were very excited about their meeting with the horses. They had a chance to look how the horses were trained, followed commands and overcome various steeplechases. They also saw and learned what kind of care was needed by and provided for the horses. Illustrations were used in order to broaden the children's knowledge and interesting facts about the lives and history of the horses were presented.
