On May 30^th, the children from the Center for Public Support art workshop - Nadezhda presented their new paintings in Gallery 2.0,

Community Support Centre (CSC) - Nadezhda ia a social service operated by the Institute for Social Activities and Practices (SAPI). The Art Workshop is an innovative educational practice that teaches children to express difficult emotions throughout colors and feel the satisfaction of the creation process.

The event was opened with a concert by the musicians from Jazztet: Ventsislav Blagoev - trumpet, Borislav Iliev - guitar and Dimitar Sirakova - double bass. Prof. Neli Petrova - Chairperson of the SAPI Board welcomed all the guests with a presentation of the Institute's activities. The artist Tsvetomir Asenov talked about the creation of the art studio, where in only three years the children painted over 200 paintings on different themes as some of them are improvisations on famous works by the great masters.

At the moment I am a designer at MAXCOM Europe and I am involved in the bicycles design. * * I have studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Plovdiv with Graphic Design and Photography major * * I have been very busy with logos and branding. My famous works are the new logo of Bulgartransgas and the "BURGAS - CANDIDATE FOR THE EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2019" logo *.

The HandsUp project is funded by the European Commission’s “Rights, Equality and Citizenship Program”.
