On June 15th, 2011 in Sofia was held a conclusive conference for the SAPI project financed by the OAK Foundation - "Resilience without borders". At the meeting the local coordinators and the head of the project - Diana Ruseva -

had the chance to share their inspiration and decisions about the implementation of the activities related to the provision of resilience to the community.

The teams of the schools where the model for prevention of violence work through the creation of a child-friendly environment also shared their experience. Stephan Vanistendal, Jan Mayer and Ass. Professor Nelly Petrova, consultants and trainers in resilience, introduced the participants to the new European practices that strengthen the resilience of the members of foster families and of mothers who have difficulties in raising their children.

We are happy to make the conclusion that the work of the team related to the resilience approach has rendered its effect upon practices inspired by resilience and practices demonstrating the new approach to providing children and families with help.
