From June 2nd to June 4th, 2010 the Social Activities and Practices Institute organized a training on the topic "Participation of children victims of violence in the penal process".

The training took place in Sofia in the "Shipka" Hotel under the leading of Associate Professor Nelly Petrova and Dr. Nadya Stoykova. Twenty-two specialists from Sofia, Pazardjik, Shoumen, Pernik, Ruse, Plovdiv, and Stara Zagora took part in the training. Researches regarding violence against children and the way children share about violence, recognition of the symptoms, training moovies of SAPI related to violence, work in small groups, leading child hearing and the phase of the interview, credibility of the testimony given by children and preparation for participation in legal procedures were included in the programme of the training.
