On 16.08.2011 the team of the RFCC - Sofia together with colleagues from th eCPU "Krasno Selo" and CPU "Lozenets" prevented the placement of one more baby in a social institution.

The child was released from the maternity hospital and a professional foster care mother took care of the baby immediately. The mother was trained by the team of the Regional Foster Care Centre in Sofia.

Thanks to the financial support of UNICEF, which was used to buy the most urgent goods for the baby - diapers, food, cosmetics, baby bed and clothes, the mother was able to welcome the child in her home where the baby will enjoy good care, individual attention and motherly caress. The child will be able to grow in a relaxed family environment and wait for an adoptive family.
