By a invitation from the Regional Directorate "Social Support" - Shoumen on March 19th, 2010 was organized a meeting between the directors of the Directorate "Social Support" from the municipalities Shoumen, Venets, Veliki Preslav, Novi Pazar and Kaolinovo, the director of the CSSCF,

the head of the team of the Regional Foster Care Centre, and the head of SOS Women and Children Victims of Violence from Novi Pazar. At the meeting was presented an analysis of the situation in the region, and vindication of the need for development of the foster care service. The roles and responsibilities of the teams in their work related to the foster care service were determined and a work group to write and propose a Project for a regional plan regarding the development of the foster care service was appointed.
The work group met on March 26th. The goals, tasks, and main activities that were to be included in the Project were defined. The next meeting of the group was scheduled for April 13th and it is expected that the Project will be discussed and approved.
