On 16.08.2010 a work meeting between representatives of the Regional Foster Care Centre -Sofia, representatives from the Child Protection Unit, and the Mayor of Dragoman - Mrs. Sonia Doncheva was held.

Discussed was the strategy for providing information to the municipality regarding the voluntary and professional foster care. Mrs. Doncheva expressed her willingness to cooperate and suggested that information materials be distributed on August 28th which is the official town holiday. Up to date, there are two voluntary foster families in Dragoman.
